Arts Salon + Book Launch
Hi everyone, I’m sending this out across all of my channels so please forgive the duplication this one time.
Over the weekend I may have stayed up way past my bedtime creating the program for the Salon this Saturday at @fourwindsau - and honestly how can I ever thank these artists enough for their kindness and support in the official launch of How to Read A City, Your Place of Last Resort.
We sold out of tickets earlier in the week and have twice had to add more... thank you to everyone who has pre-ordered a signed copy for the weekend, thank you 5 Islands Press for supporting this event, thank you to my editor Peter Frankis without whom the book would not exist, and to the amazingly talented people travelling interstate and across the state to be here with me - Nigel Featherstone, (Congrats on you amazing WIN this week) Jen Webb who gave the most AMAZING HDR talk on burnout and surviving academia this week - (if you are an HDR please come and join the AAWP HANG... contact me for details) to Sandra Renew @bangalay.arts.crafts Justin Pearson, Di Dibley and FLING Physical Theatre and most of all Richard Lawson and yes there is another load of dishes to do as I still have one more cake to bake :-) THANK YOU all
